It is set! My next car is a prepped RX7 SA22C! :)

It’s done! Unless I get insurance troubles which is very unlikely, my next car will be a prepped and caged SA22C Rx7 by RE-Amemiya!!

I drove it for over 20 minutes today and definitly loved it! It’s definitly not as fast as the Corvette I owned before, but damn, it’s fun! Very light, Turbo 180/190hp, engine modified to go up to 9000rpm, adjustable suspensions with a crapload of settings I’ll never bother touching and a noise!!! When that thing revs at 7500/8000rpm it’s AWESOME!!! H&T are a joy and freaking easy too due to the perfect pedal alignement. Loved it!

To sum it up, as I said, adjustable suspensions and tuned engine, along with aftermarket LSD, roll cage and short shifter.

Few weird things that will get fixed before it becomes mine: The gas pump becomes VERY noisy after a while despite being brand new, but we’ve figured out it’s most likely due to a bad/old gas filter and the idle is not exactly fantastic due to some rather “average” O2 sensors. It doesn’t stall even cold though. Tires are old also and will be changed.

The trunk space is massive with the foldable rear seats which is excatly what I need!

Anyway, I won’t “take delivery” until August as I’m leaving to Europe for over 1 month next week and the deal on the car involves a trade with another french car that I’ll import for him but we shook hands, I already have the money for it and well, it’s basically done :)

Now I’ll have to find a parking spot (necessary to own a car in Japan) and an extra insurance (main insurance is included with the “shaken”).

Damn freaking happy!!!
